In the present work, an investigation of the phase composition in the synthesis of lithium-titanium ferrite composition Li0,6Fe2,2Ti0,2O4 was studied using thermomagnetometric method based on gravimetric measurements in a magnetic field. Determination of the phase composition in termomagnetomeric measurements was conducted by comparing of Curie temperature data of the investigated samples and reference samples with application of mathematical modeling and software Peak Separation (Netzsch), allowing to analyze a complex peaks. A data of thermomagnetometric analysis were compared with X-ray analysis data. The results showed a significant difference in the quanti-tative phase content data obtained by the X-ray and thermal analyses. It was found that the method of the magnetometric analysis reflects best the formation of the magnetic phase in the synthesis of ferrite, and therefore provides a more precise estimate of the phase composition of the synthesis products. A complex analysis using both X-ray and termomagnitometric methods will be the most optimal in case of the formation of non-magnetic or weakly magnetic phase. Keywords: solid-phase synthesis, lithium-substituted ferrite, thermomagnetometry.
