Abstract. Based on the experience of application, the method was proposed to improve the reliability of radiographic inspection and to increase the accuracy of optical density measurements during the automated decoding of radiographic images of high optical density. The issue was considered regarding the opening of integrated information center on the basis of industrial laboratories. Its purpose is to combine through firmware systems the information about inspections, obtained by radiographic method, as well as by digital radiography method with reusable phosphor storage plates, and by other testing methods, providing the remote access to information via digital networks and the ability to transfer data in file formats, included to the international standards.
