Abstract. An approach to modeling the social and economic processes which influence on the national security of the Russian Federation is offered. The mathematical system dynamics models for safety characteristics control and forecasting are developed. The characteristics are defined in the Russian President Decree № 537 “About National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation up to 2020”. The graph of cause-effect links between the characteristics is made. It is a basis for non-linear differential equations system which solution lets forecast changes of the characteristics. Tendencies of these changes are discovered helps to developed models. It is necessary for creating the control and diagnostics systems of the national security of the Russian Federation.
