ON-LINE MONITORING THE LEVEL MEASURING CHANNELS WITH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSORS AT A NPP. PART 2

Abstract. This paper is devoted to increase of reliability and accuracy of the level measuring at NPP technological vessels. It proposes the diagnostic method of level measuring channels which allows to reveal the random measurement error including the cases where no redundant level measurement channels within the APCS. It is achieved by comparing the calibration characteristics of the channel taken in on-line or in a certain cutoff time with the reference characteristics obtained beforehand in the period when the measuring channel was serviceable. Mathematical procedures are proposed here for diagnostic implementation can be considered in the future design of an expert system of on-line monitoring of the level measuring channels in the NPP technological vessels.
