THE METHOD OF DEFINING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF UNITS OF COMPLICATED AIR-HYDRAULIC CONTROL OBJECT REFERRING TO TEST DATA
(pp. 42-47)

Abstract. It is proposed the method of determining the characteristics of assemblies of a complex pneumatic-hydraulic control object (for example, a liquid propellant rocket engine) according to the measurement results, obtained during full-scale tests. The state of a control object (CO) is supposed to be described by the specified function system (in contrast to the values of their arguments), which can be measured. A range of complications connected with the mistakes of function measurements appears during solving the issues of determining the assemblies’ characteristics. Two means should be used in order to overcome these complications. The first is the multiple function measurements on constant mode, on CO. The second is the method of least squares. The first allows to get pointwise consistent estimates of the function values for the sake of averaging. The second allows to realize an acceptable solution to inconsistent equations system.

Keywords: least-squares method, measurement data, units behaviour.
