Shelihov G. S., Artemiev B. V. Abstract. The article deals with the situation causing the magnetization of ferromagnetic products during manufacture or operation. Many precision mechanisms cease to function smoothly with the appearance of magnetization in its components or in the product as the whole. To correct this problem the demagnetization is used. When demagnetization of bearings, gears, rollers, valve steam and other precision parts: engines, watches and other complex machinery made of ferromagnetic material when the magnetization arises some minor process of increasing the residual magnetization of the product in descending alternating magnetic field. This effect (process) is an obstacle to achieving the desired low level of residual magnetization of the product. The article explains the physical nature of the process and provides guidance to eliminate the influence of this effect on the quality of demagnetization, that allows to reach a minimum of residual magnetization which does not have an impact on the functioning the product. Keywords: magnetic control, degaussing control objects, magnetization, residual magnetization
