Nosov V. V., Zelensky N. A. Abstract. A method for nondestructive determination of the strength of the elements shells underwater vehicles is based on the analysis of information on the acoustic emission signals. They are recorded during the original diagnostic loading the cylindrical body portion and assessment associated with the resource informative acoustic emission diagnostically indicators. As a result of the work on the basis of established positions with the information and the kinetic approach micromechanical model temporal dependencies of the acoustic emission parameters recorded at the correct diagnostic of loading was tested method of non-destructive evaluation of the degree of danger of defects compressible welded ring members. A good correlation between the values of acoustic emission diagnostic indicators with the value of calculated stresses near defects showed a promising approach for the development of the technology of acoustic emission nondestructive testing of hull strength of welded elements and definitions of allowable depth of the submersible dives. Keywords: acoustic emission, micromechanical model, submersible.
