Veliyev F. M., Kerimov R. M. Abstract. A lot of research papers are devoted now to joint calibration of on-board techniques of remote sensing. But number of researches are devoted to the general information assessment of errors, occurred in different comparing procedures linked with intersensor calibration is not so high. The validation procedure means the ground imitation of measurement method used in remote measuring system. The methodic is developed for estimation of general informativeness of results of all comparison operations in suggested complex of joint calibration and validation realized by the way of determination of number of informative links in the complex where the comparison of data is possible. The carried out analysis of total informativeness of all possible subtraction signals existing in the complex of joint calibration of two remote measuring instruments supported by relevant validation meters and common calibration measuring instrument shows that the minimum total informativeness of subtraction signals in the complex can be reached upon presence of linear type dependence of amount of subtraction signal on maximum priority index of relevant pair of blocks of the complex. Keywords: optimization, calibration, validation, remote sensing, information.
