MODELLING THE ENGINEERING DOCUMENT FLOW RELATED TO THE GENERATION OF FLOW CHARTS FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
(pp. 58-63)

Abstract. The engineering document flow related to the generation of non-destructive testing technology cards (process charts) is presented from the perspective of mathematical modeling. The solution of the problem of optimizing the document flow related to the technological preparation of non-destructive testing is analyzed using graph theory. Formation of non-destructive testing flow charts is shown like the process of the conditions of changing a document when it is created, released, used on the basis of design, regulatory and other source data. The participants of the process are process engineers (i.e. operators), managers (i.e. coordinating persons) and NDT-inspectors. Two discussed scenarios of creation of a document using a graph are represented like an adjacency matrix. The solution of the optimization task provided the shortest generation process, the implementation of which is performed by the software designed for generating process charts for visual and measuring control processes.

Keywords: engineering workflow of documents, nondestructive testing, process charts, adjacency matrix, mathematical model, graph model of a composite document.
