Dayev Zh. A. Abstract. The proposed work solves the problem associated with the development of the concept and operation of the information and measurement system for measuring and monitoring the humidity of natural gas in conditions of a branched gas pipeline system. The article describes the factors that can affect the quality of transported natural gas. It gives an overview of methods for measuring and monitoring the humidity of the gas, which can be used as a basis for a telemetric gas humidity monitoring system. The presented work considers a generalized model of the information-measuring system, which consists of a large number of gas mains-gas sources that can be accumulated in one transit gas pipeline. The complexity and conditions of excessive humidity in such systems are discussed. Also, it presents the analytical dependencies obtained with the help of hydrodynamic equations that describe the motion of gas, on the basis of which a prediction of humidity attainment in some sections of the gas transportation system can be performed. The proposed structure and concept of a telemetric information-measuring system for the humidity of natural gas is addressed to employees and specialists involved in the development and improvement of automated measuring systems, as well as to employees of companies that operate main gas pipelines. Keywords: moisture, gas, system, control, pipeline.
