Maslov A. R., Neginskii E. A., Ott O. S. Abstract. A pilot drill bit for drilling hard granite-type rocks, the main elements of which are special cutting plates and measuring device for diagnosing major drilling parameters, ensuring the collection and transmission of measuring data via radio to the control system are developed. Measuring information about temperature in zone drilling from sensors embedded in the cutting plates, and of torque from resistorstrain sensors mounted on the casing of the drill, enters the electronic unit and digitally transferred from radio to radio, connected with a computer control system. Special software for automatic processing of measurement information provides remote configuration settings for digital converters, process management measurement, processing, analysis and storage of measurement data and perform a visual and graphical display of the results of the diagnosis.Developed device differs from similar designs that use contact slip rings. Laboratory tests have shown that the proposed solution improves reliability of measuring information transfer in conditions as close as possible to reality. Described device must ensure the collection and processing of measurement data on the characteristics of the processes of prospecting drilling of rocks for oil and natural gas rotary cutters with diamond-carbide plates, most close to reality. Keywords: drilling, chisels, carbide diamond-plate, thermistor, resistive strain, transmission, radio channel.
