Danilov V. N., Razygraev A. N., Tcukanov M. V. Abstract. On the basis of previously developed model for calculating an acoustic channel of the angle beam probe for a reflector of the type of a lateral cylindrical hole with ultrasonic testing of metal through the cladding layer with the speed of shear wave lowered in comparison with the basic metal calculations of dependence of a registered signal from position of the probe for a hole of a standard sample СО-2 (diameter 6 mm) and a similar hole in the physical model, which were compared with the results of measurements using standard Clones transducers with frequencies of 1.8 MHz, 2.5 MHz, and different input angles. It is established that theoretically revealed features of signals caused by presence cladding layer are confirmed experimentally. Results of calculations of signals for a layer of different thickness and various relations of speeds of shear waves in it and in metal are given. Keywords: angle beam probe, shear wave, angle of probe, displacement of an angle of probe, cladding layer, metal, acoustic channel, reflector, side drilled hole, ultrasonic testing, thickness of a layer, physical model, experimental research.
