Dayev Zh. A., Nurushev E. T. Abstract. The article raises questions of the transition of technical maintenance and organization of aircraft repairs from the traditional system, which is based on the development of a certain number of hours to the operating system as per the state of the aircraft. Possible risks and its consequences in case of such a transition are considered. The paper proposes a risk-oriented approach for estimating the costs of repair work and determining the timing of the ship's withdrawal for repairs. The ratio providing a constancy of chance (of the opposite event, inversion of risk) of the failure-free operation of the aircraft or a part thereof during the service life is obtained. A probability-statistical estimate of the cost and condition of a part of an aircraft is performed in accordance with the proposed model. The article is addressed to employees and managers of organizations involved in the operation of aviation equipment and employees of aircraft repair plants. Keywords: aircraft, risk, control, repair.
