Syasko V. A., Golubev S. S., Potapov A. I., Smirnova N. I. Abstract. The features of the modern and perspective electromagnetic methods of non-destructive testing and also implemented on their basis of gages of thickness of protecting and functional coatings on the metal bases which are partitioned into six groups, depending on conductance and magnetic properties of structure the coating/base are considered In article. Explicitly the offered structures of measuring transducers on the basis of the modern single-crystal microcontrollers with developed architecture and also algorithms of obtaining primary information for magnetic-induction impulse and teddy-current frequency and phase methods of measurement are described. The detailed analysis of primary informative and hindering parameters determined by geometrical and electrophysical parameters of products and conditions of carrying out measurements for each of methods is made. The methods of suppression of their influence providing reduction of uncertainty of measurements in case of maintenance of electromagnetic coating thickness gauges in industrial conditions are offered hardware-software (including test). Offers on the choice of parameters and complete set oа devices depending on problems of measurement are given. The comparative review of production of the main foreign and domestic manufacturers of the feeler gages which have passed the state tests and included in the State register of gages is given. Keywords: coating, thickness, electromagnetic, thickness gauge.
