The article presents the tomogram reconstruction algorithm used in the through-transition method. The use of linear acoustic arraysfor the through-transition methodallows to obtain a set of transmission coefficients of the medium from different angles. This set of transmission coefficients is combined into a matrix of transmission coefficients of the medium, by analysis of which it is possible to referee the defect characteristic. For example, 3 matrices of transmission coefficients of the medium for three cases of the defect location in the control zone are given. Using the matrix of transmission coefficients of the medium and the proposed data processing algorithm, it is possible to obtain a control zone tomogram, which is represented by a set of small local areas. For each such region, a matrix of normalized attenuation coefficients is calculated. These coefficients are encoded with a color gamut or grayscale and displayed on the monitor screen. The simulation results were confirmed by experimental data. Experiment confirmed the high efficiency of the model. Keywords: through-transition testing method, acoustic array, tomogram, aspect angles, local area, testing zone.
