Artemyev I. B., Shchelbanin A. V., Artemiev B. V. Abstract. The general principles of implementation, as well as the algorithms of the hardware and software complex for monitoring and monitoring environmental parameters in the “smart house” system are considered. The work begins with a review of the current approach to environmental monitoring, a brief historical overview of the development of the approach to environmental quality management. The basic principles of building a “smart house” system are outlined. A generalized algorithm for the operation of the system is developed. Critical parameters that should be monitored by the system are identified. The main types of hazardous contaminants are considered. Their classification has been carried out and options for dealing with them have been considered. Specific “bottlenecks” of the system are identified, which require special attention when designing and operating it. The diagrams of the sequence of actions performed by the "smart house" system were also developed. Structural schemes for the implementation of the system are proposed, and the hardware base for the project is selected. An architectural approach to the construction of the program part of the system is proposed. The approach was used to decompose the system into several physical levels, using open data transfer protocols, as well as open source software. A prototype of the system, implemented both at the physical and at the program level, is proposed. Keywords: software and hardware complex, smart house system, industrial automation.
