Murashov V. V. Abstract. It is shown that the most actual problem of increase of reliability of products of aviation engineering is the problem of increase of their quality as main indicator of assessment of products of responsible assignment. Examined macro- and microdefects of the structure of polymer composite materials (PCM) and their influence on physical and mechanical properties of materials and factors causing the variation in characteristics of physical and mechanical properties. Describe in detail the methodology of research of physical and mechanical properties and composition of PCM methods of technical diagnostics. The kinetics of accumulation of damages of structure of material is shown at operation of details and designs from PCM and interrelation between different physical and mechanical properties of materials and their structure. It is shown that aging of material is accompanied by accumulation of the microdamages which availability defines deterioration of physical and mechanical properties of materials. Physical the bases of use of longitudinal waves and Lamb's waves are covered at control of designs from PCM and the informativeness of the acoustic characteristics used as parameters of diagnostics. The article describes methods for improving the accuracy of diagnosis of the characteristics of the structure and physical and mechanical properties of materials by increasing the accuracy of measurement of informative diagnostics parameters, and integration of diagnostic parameters.
