Trukhanov V. M., Kukhtik M. P. Abstract. Present article is devoted to the problem of achievement and securing of high level of reliability and security of technical systems at stage of design. New approach and method of design calculation of reliability taking into account unchanging and changing in time intensity of failures have been proposed. Function of design calculation of reliability has been presented as product of three constituents of probabilities of failure-free operation at all period of running taking into account calculation of reliability of mechanical components and metal constructions. Estimation model taking into account control actions has been proposed with the purpose of achievement and securing of required level of reliability and security. Mathematical models of design calculation of reliability of technical system in terms of random and nonrandom failures and control actions as well have been obtained. Technique of calculation and achievement of required level of reliability and security.
