The article describes the method of determining Fourier coefficients in the vibrating method diagnosis of different rotary typeunits. An approach based on the decomposition of the vibration trajectory on an orthogonal trigonometric basis, allowing to take into account the periodicity of the oscillatory processes is propose. Expressions for approximate calculation of the expansion coefficients of vibrotactile in the orthogonal basis. Formed conditions, allowing to find the minimum number of the Fourier coefficients, while preserving the necessary accuracy of the description of the vibration trajectory form. Based on the expressions the block diagram of a method of finding the coefficients of the vibration trajectory decomposition on an orthogonal trigonometric basis is generated and provided. The conclusion about the validity of using the developed technique in practice.
