Sviridov Yu. B., Slyadnev A. M. Abstract. The paper presents the results of numerical calculations of harmonic elastic fields of displacements, stresses, specific acoustic impedances in a cylindrical sound transmission and a tread detector for different wave resistances OK and the concentration parameter. The calculations were performed on the basis of exact solutions of the Helmholtz and Webster equations obtained in the previous article of the authors. Modules (envelopes) of wave functions, specific acoustic impedances are analyzed and a physical explanation is given to the peculiarities of their behavior. The problem of the approximation of wave fields in an irregular resonator with the help of Ermit interpolation polynomials with multiple nodes is considered. The results of the previous and given articles of the authors made it possible to draw a number of conclusions and recommendations useful for practical applications. The approach adopted in both works is an alternative to the method of electromechanical analogies known in acoustics.
