INSTALLATION FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF TEMPERATURE OF THE MAXIMUM OPERABILITY OF THE REPLACEABLE CUTTING PLATES ON THE BASIS OF CHANGE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF HARD ALLOYS
(pp. 54-57)

Abstract. Objective of this research is development of laboratory installation for diagnosing of temperature of the maximum operability of the replaceable cutting plates in a condition of delivery on change of electromagnetic properties of solid alloys when heating. For diagnostics of a condition of the replaceable cutting plates at change of temperature the method of nondestructive control which consists in interaction of the electromagnetic field of the transformer whirling current converter with the electromagnetic field of the vortex currents induced in the cutting plate investigated replaceable from solid alloy when heating has been taken as a basis whirling current. The developed laboratory installation, allows without approaching the machine to diagnose temperature of the maximum operability of the replaceable cutting plates in a condition of delivery on change of electromagnetic properties of solid alloys when heating, namely on measurements of EMFs values of a winding of excitement of the whirling current converter from temperature. Results of measurements will allow to intensify the processing modes on the basis of an evidence-based technique, without long stability tests.

Keywords: hard alloys, metal cutting, electromagnetic properties.
