ANALYSIS OF FEATURES OF DETECTION OF OBJECTS LOCATED ON THE SAME AXIS RELATIVE TO THE OBSERVER, BY THE METHOD OF RADAR IN THE MILLIMETER RANGE

Abstract. A new approach to the visualization of three-dimensional images obtained using a millimeter-wave radar is described. The proposed radar uses a cross antenna array to obtain a two-dimensional image of each range. Thus, a three-dimensional image of the object under study can be formed. Also proposed a new method of processing a radar signal, based on the theory of Compressive Sensing (CS), to detect two or more targets on the same line of sight. After a brief description of the proposed approaches, case studies are presented to assess the effectiveness of the method.
