MOBILE HARDNESS MEASURING TOOLS: STATE AND PROSPECTS
(pp. 52-57)

Abstract. The article briefly describes the main methods of hardness measurement in non-stationary field conditions. Among them are dynamic and ultrasonic methods, which made it possible to create portable devices of wide application. The features and advantages of modern mobile means of measuring the hardness of materials of numerous technological structures are described. The information about the main manufacturers of portable hardness testers and metrological means of their calibration and verification is given.

Keywords: hardness of materials, new measurement methods, portable hardness testers, manufacturing companies.
