One of the critical components of microwave plasma complex, which determines metrological and diagnostic parameters of the appliance, is a device for ultrasonic atomization and supply of a lubricating oil sample to spectra excitation source (SES). The main problem was the development of atomizer construct, which makes it possible to increase its resource for failure and reduce influence associated with the brand of analyzed lubricating aviation oils on size of sol droplets. The article presents requirements for the parameters of generated sol sputtering system during microwave plasma measurements, and also describes the search for the optimal sputter construct. Several constructs of ultrasonic nebulizers have been analyzed using the ANSYS 19.0 academic software package. The proposed construct is based on the principle of double spraying. An assessment of the effect of lubricating oil viscosity on the size of sol droplets was carried out and a method was described to reduce this effect. Keywords: ultrasonic atomizer, sol, aerosol, microwave plasma analyzer, lubricating oil, liquid sample, atomization of liquid samples.
