The influence of the pulsed nature of the signal of various durations emitted during ultrasonic monitoring on the DGS-diagram of a normal probe with a round piezoplate using an approximate far field formula for the distance to the probe over three near fields has been studied by computer modeling. For a distance of up to one and a half near fields, a scalar approximation of the integral representation of the pressure on the probe was used when receiving a longitudinal wave reflected from a flat bottom hole for the case of an axis symmetric arrangement of the hole and the probe. In the far field, the influence of the pulsed nature of the signal emitted during ultrasonic monitoring on the DGS-diagram has not been established, and for the distance to the probe of no more than 1,5 near fields, the results of the calculations carried out generally qualitatively confirm the effect of the change in the duration of the emitted pulse on the DGS-diagram, shown in the previously published works of prof. I. N. Ermolov. Keywords: DGS-diagram, normal probe, pulse, flat bottom hole, near field, far field, signal, round piezoplate.
