Abstract. The paper discusses the measurement of amplitude characteristics parameters of quadripole networks that is one of important and relatively new areas of measurement technology. In this paper, this aspect is considered in relation to discrete methods for measuring parameters of amplitude characteristics using digital procedures for generating and converting test signals. It is shown that, in contrast to the constant one, with a discrete modulation law it is possible to weaken the influence of transient processes and dynamic distortions of the test signal in the studied quadripole network, which helps to significantly increase the sensitivity of analyzers of the amplitude characteristics of quadrupole networks.
