DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM. SYSTEM APPLICATION EXPERIENCE ON A REFINERY IN NON-STOP TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS CONDITIONS

Abstract. The article considers practical experience in the health assessment of process pipelines in non-stop technological process conditions. The applied method of control through the digital radiography system with the use of flat-panel detectors allows to reliably detect equipment corrosion damage. Extension of service life of process pipelines that transport corrosive media and operate at high temperatures and pressure increases the need for carrying out measures for assuring the required reliability level. One of the key components to the system for assuring reliability is reliable data on the current health state of equipment. Pipeline health assessment with the use of the digital radiography hardware and software system solves the task of acquiring updated information on the health of pipelines and the further service situation. ealth assessment of process pipelines in non-stop technological process conditions results in timely detection of unacceptable defects at critical process pipeline locations.
