Zagidulin R.V., Zagidulin T.R., Konnov V.V. Abstract. Theoretical model of underground steel pipeline own magnetic field caused by geomagnetic field is provided. The features of spatial components of magnetic field strength measuring scheme optimization and identification features of steel pipeline are considered. The multi-parameter technique is proposed with the aim to evaluate depth of buried steel pipeline and amplitude function of one located in geomagnetic field. On the base of obtained symbolic expressions the conditions necessary to optimal evaluation of buried steel pipeline in external geo-magnetic field diagnostic parameters are investigated. Numerical carried out experiments resulted that proposed model and technique of evaluation buried steel pipeline depth and amplitude function of its magnetic field into geomagnetic field provide robust estimations of these diagnostic parameters, and also provide preciseness acceptable for practice of pipelines magnetometric inspection even if measures of magnetic field are extremely noised. Keywords: magnetometric control of steel pipeline, geomagnetic field, depth of steel pipeline, amplitude function of magnetic field, composed function, steel pipeline identification features, regularization variable.
