Trukhanov V.M. Abstract. The article is devoted to a problem of calculation of design reliability of technical systems at ageing and wear stage of units, mechanisms, consoles and other component parts of technical system. Solution of the problem is very urgent because existing methods of reliability calculation at design stage had been carried out only at normal running stage, when breakdowns caused by wear and ageing are not become apparent yet. Newness of suggested method for calculation of reliability of products on gradual breakdowns lies in reliability of calculation where Weibull distribution law or normal law is used. These laws describe distribution of gradual breakdowns good enough. Weibull distri-bution law with parameter α > 1 was approved by results of long-term running of complex technical systems. Mathematical models of calcu-lation of design reliability, expressed as working life and no-failure operation probability, on gradual breakdowns of technical systems in terms of Weibull distribution law and normal distribution have been presented in the article.
