Khalafov R.V. Abstract. It is noted, that the major requirement for achieving the high authenticity of remote sensing system installed in satellites and airplanes is providing them with technical means for ground calibration. For carrying out the calibration for both the synchronous and quasi synchronous test, ground measurements could be implemented. Such a calibration can be carried out both in the special test grounds and well-studied real ground objects. At the present time there are world-wide networks of ground and sea test sites designated for calibration of satellite remote sensing. All of this proves the urgent importance of researches on joint optimization of the systems of remote sensing and calibration. It is shown, that upon remote sensing carrying out with sensing system installed on the carrier performing a flight on inclined trajectory, upon presence of limitation for integral value of calibration systems signal/noise ratio, in order to reach the maximal value of information at the output of remote sensing complex, the signal/noise ratio of the calibration system should be increased on time. Keywords: optimization, remote sensing, calibration, information, signal/noise ratio.
