Danilov V.N. Abstract. It is analyzed the comparison versions of defining of the size of a near zone of direct converses with conventional (solid) piezoelectric plates of circleand rectangular shapes usingthe formula of prof. I. N. Ermolov (standard ratio), expressions of this size for the strongly prolated rectangular plate and used in eurostandart EN 12668-2. It is estimated the spacing intervals of formation of the directivity charac-teristic of probes and relations changes in the amplitude of the signal, close to limiting for the far zone in the sizes of the near zone. These fea-tures of the signal of a direct converter with piezoelectric plate can be used to estimate the position of the far field of the transducer with the phased array in the absence of interference maxima and minima of a signal on a probe axis.
