ABOUT SOME FEATURES OF FORMATION OF SIGNALS AND DEFINITION OF THE SIZE OF A NEAR FIELD FOR A NORMAL PROBES WITH PIEZOELECTRIC PLATES AND PHASED ARRAYS. Part 2
(pp. 18-26)

Abstract. On the basis of computer simulation of activity of the normal probe with the phased array (FA) the estimation of the size of a near field of such probe as with linear FA and FA of the rectangular form is justified. Within the limits of a near field the formation of the directivity characteristic of the probe implements, and outside of its decreasing of a signal amplitude on a probe axis at deleting from the probe takes place on relation for a far field. The features of formation of signals and definition of the size of a near field of the probe with FA are condi-tioned at a focusing of a signal in each point of a probe axis by absence of local maxima, as against the probe with piezoelectric plate.
