DEVELOPMENT AND CERTIFICATION OF ULTRASONIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES WITH USE OF SOFTWARE CIVA

Abstract. It is shown the main field of application of CIVA software as auxiliary tools for the development and certification of ultrasonic inspection procedures. It is represented the results of the inspection by Tandem method obtained with experiments and modeling. The article gives examples of the use of modeling for inspection of parameters in an object of complex shape with use of antenna arrays. It is evaluated efficiency of the selected control scheme by measurements on the test sample. It is reported the results of calculations of conformity assessment procedures products requirements of reference (detection of flaws lo-calized in the area of control; POD-curve).
