Ignatiev A. G., Tretyakov A. A. Abstract. A new technique for residual stress measurement using a cone indenter is presented. This technique based on the method using elastoplastic contact indentation. The main provisions of measurement technique are presented. The basic expressions allow to determine residual stresses by displacement around an indentation. The displacements are measured with electronic speckle pattern interferometry. General description of the technique is given. The benefits and suitability of this technique to the residual stress measurements in restored parts are shown. Technique is qualified as nondestructive. This method is recommended for use in research institutions and laboratories of repair companies in the development, improvement and debugging techniques for parts restoration. Keywords: restored parts, residual stresses, measurements, contact problem, indenter.
