USE OF MICROFOCUS X-RAY RADIATORS FOR CONTROL OF WELDED JOINTS "PIPE – PIPE BOARD"

Abstract. The organization of closed nuclear and fuel cycle, expansion of fuel base and minimization of radioactive waste in nuclear power industry of the Russian Federation is realized by development of the NPP on the basis of reactor installations with sodium heat carriers of the BN series. In order to avoid emergency destruction of heat exchangers and radioactive pollution of steam-turbine plant at chemical interaction with water and wet steam of radioactive (to 50 Ki/l) sodium requirements to reliability and tightness of ring welded connections pipe – pipe board of the steam generator controlled by radio graphic method are significantly toughened. The possibility to improve the quality of control by method of statistic modeling of quantitative ratios of fluxes of scattered and direct registered radiations in various modes of microfocus X-ray imaging using minimization of noise contribution of scattered radiation generated by components of system with partial transformation of a flux of primary radiation is regarded in this research.
