ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT OF A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD «SPECIALIST FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING»

Abstract. RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” is developing the professional standard “Specialist for non-destructive testing” in the aerospace industry. One of the goals of this work is to identify and clarify the requirements for specialists for non-destructive testing in accordance with current conditions as well as unification, establishing and maintaining the unity of the requirements for the content and quality of the professional work of these specialists. A functional map of the professional standard of the project includes three generalized labor-related functions in accordance with the documents for certification specialists for non-destructive testing (PB 03-440-02 and ISO 9712:2012), the specialists of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd skill levels. This professional standard is developed taking into account the provisions of the International Standard ISO 9712:2012 “Non-destructive testing. Qualification and certification of NDT personnel”, which aims to promote the harmonization of requirements for NDT personnel imposed by international and Russian documents.
