DETERMINATION OF DENSITY OF WOOD USING LOW-FREQUENCY ACOUSTIC METHOD OF NATURAL OSCILLATION FREQUENCY
(pp.  43-48)

Abstract. The article describes a method for determining the density of the wood with the use of low-frequency acoustic method of natural oscillation frequency, according to the measuring technique developed as a result of research and development work commissioned by the Federal Customs Service (FCS) in order to improve, accelerate and facilitate the work on the exercise control during the customs control timber and lumber.

Keywords: customs control, the density of the wood, timber exports, acoustic control, low-frequency ultrasound measurements, natural oscillation frequency.
