Abstract. In article the main stages of development of X-ray medical equipment in RII from 1972 to the present are given. There are the X-ray apparatus and instruments radiology developed at the institute for the past 25 years. A new era in medical X-ray equipment began associated with the introduction of computers and digital radiation detectors which created a number of advantages and new opportunities for diagnosis.
