Abstract. The article provides a brief introduction to the history of the development of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics in Russia, with an emphasis on the development of NDT methods, which were carried out by the Research Institute of Introscopy of MSIA “Spectrum” Moscow. Are the leading scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of control methods.
