DOI: 10.14489/td.2014.04.pp.070-074 Chernyshev A. V., Zagorskij I. E. Abstract. Presents data on eddy current defectoscope for detecting defects in the cast iron engine block liners. Scanning the inner and outer surfaces of the liner is produced by sixteen superimpose transducers. Deviation from interfering factors is based on the use of the modulation (dynamical) method of control – during control liner is rotated around its axis with constant angular speed. The results of industrial application of defectoscope and examples of detected defects are presented. Keywords: defectoscope, eddy current, superimpose transducer, engine block liners, crack.
