DIAGNOSIS OF FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS OF OPTIMAL CONTROL SYSTEM OF ELECTRODEPOSITION PROCESS WITH REVERSE CURRENT MODE
(pp. 66-71)

Abstract. The paper discusses the main parameters that determine the thickness, hardness and uniformity of the coating. The way of finding a bandwidth of galvanic system in the reverse current mode by its reaction to a unit step function (Heaviside function) and a transfer function to find the optimum mode of operation according to the criterion of non-uniformity of the coating is considered. Analytical expressions for the determination of the maximum frequency of the coating process were obtained. A patented device for reversing a current taking into account dynamic properties of the coating process was developed. А control system in a form of a computer console with the original software was developed. These stages are combined into the technological process. The process adequacy is experimentally verified using the criterion of non-uniformity of the coating thickness.

Keywords: electrodeposits, reverse current, transfer function, bandwidth, pulse duration, coating uniformity, control system of electrodeposition process.
