The work studies the capability of applying nondestructive strength control of composite structural members using the heat effect of ac-cumulating microdefects in static loading with a constant strain rate. The capability of increasing the informativity of thermal control of polymer composite materials by identifying a heat effect model in their failure has been shown. Based on results of conducted theoretical and experimental studies, the procedure of identifying parameters of the determinating equation for a material model has been proposed. The procedure of detecting and identifying internal stresses in power loading of products using the analysis of dynamic temperature fields has been developed. Keywords: organic-fiber reinforced plastic failure, identification, heat-effect coefficient, microdefects, thermal nonde-structive control.
