SYSTEM OF DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY FOR WELD INSPECTION OF ACTIVE PIPELINES

Abstract. Weld joints of pipelines of nuclear power plant blocks are examined by periodical inspection, which must be done quickly and with high sensitivity. Simultaneously there should be provided documentation of results, mobility, portability and autonomy of NDT resources, and also possibility of control in narrow circumstances. On the base of designed and serial released equipment by use matrix detector with high resolution and original software there was created a digital radiography set to realize those requirements. Its technical characteristics are given. Results of experimental works are considered.
