Abstract. A new method of identification of product defects and evaluation of their influence on the operation safety of a complex technical object, using rules of logical inference, necessary for making a decision about the damage degree by means of formal concept analysis, is described in the present research. An algorithm, implementing the proposed method of data mining was developed. The introduced algorithm was used for solution of a practical task of damage detection on the results of non destructive testing information signal analysis.
