THE DEPENDENCE OF THE DIRECTIONAL CHARACTERISTIC OF PLATED TRANSDUCER ON ITS GEOMETRY AND FREQUENCY OF THE EMISSION. Part 3
(pp. 17-24)

Abstract. 

In this article we showed that:
– the length of the transitional and near zones of emission of the EMA transformation are interrelated and are regulated by the same ratio found for the contact pickups;
– the angle saturation of the directional characteristic and the dependence of the displacements amplitude on frequency are defined by the width of the transducer;
– the ratio of the width of the current elements and the spacing between them in the overall width of the transducers do not affect their dependencies frequency;
– the maximum of displacements amplitude is located in the region of low frequencies (approximately 0.5 MHz) and shifted into the area of even lower frequencies with increasing the width of the emitter.
