TO THE QUESTION OF THE CONTROL WITH ULTRASONIC METHOD STUDS OF FLANGE CONNECTIONS OF POWER EQUIPMENT
(pp. 55-62)

Abstract. The article presents the results of study on ultrasonic testing of studs, including identification of fatigue cracks under the carving. It shows the analysis of informative signs for evaluation of cracks in studs of power equipment. The process of measuring the depth of fatigue cracking with Rayleigh waves method has been detailed. The results of detection of reflectors with the straight and inclined probes with different parameters have been also shown. In concluding the additions and changes made to the methodology for control flange facings of NPP equipment, based on the results of the research, have been specified.
