THE ANALYSIS OF THE REASONS OF FORMATION OF INDICATORY DRAWINGS OF FALSE DEFECTS AT CAPILLARY CONTROL

Abstract. The unitary cycle of capillary control to a two-alternative signs with division of details on suitable, defective, false suitable and  false defective is considered. The part of errors of rejection of details is caused by subjective psychological errors made by inspectors in the course of detection and identification of indicatory drawings of defects. Some cases of the admission defects are caused by presence of cracks with the compressed cavity. Rejection of details is caused by formation of false defects, that is, occurrence of the drawings similar to drawings of the valid defects in those zones of control where real defects are usually not present. The most dangerous defects of metal details are extended defects, including cracks of a various origin. Therefore, the basic attention turned on cases of detection of linear extended indicatory drawings of false defects. It is established that false defects can appear in the presence of minor alterations of microgeometry and various admissible damages of a surface of details or the rest of pollution and the sheetings not completely removed at preliminary clearing of details before control. False defects, as a rule, are formed at capillary control of details with application of high-sensitivity materials. For example, at machine-building factories indicatory drawings of false defects can form risks and the scratches which have been trampled down scales of metal, painted thin traces of a gumboil, glue, liquid glass, a thermosheeting and traces of various pollution. Examples of indicatory drawings of false defects are given. An ordered classification of the reasons of formation of indicatory drawings of the false defects similar to cracks is executed. This classification allows to consider the big variety of the specified reasons in certain system. It’s very important to take measures on an exception of false cracks and to facilitate the analysis and identification of indicatory drawings at capillary control.
