Abstract. The article describes the main achievements in the new perspective direction of the radar for the registration of subsurface objects at short distance. The speakers were high-level professionals from Russia, USA, UK, Italy and Japan. Discussed the principles of improving the technical characteristics of short distance radars and the results of their practical application in various fields.
