DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS TO DETERMINE THE SIZE AND LOCATION OF WATER LEAKS WITH THE HELP OF SORPTION OF HYDRO-SENSOR CABLE
(pp. 32-37)

Abstract. The work proves the possibility of determining the locations and sizes of water leaks (breakthroughs of water vapor) on the basis of measurements of changes of electric parameters of sorption hydro sensor cable (SHC). Investigated by potentiometric, reflectometric method of measurement and the capacity of SHC to determine the locations and sizes of the impact of water or vapor. It is established that SHC allows to identify the first signs of a water leak (breakthrough of water vapor): spots of dampness; condensation; micro droplets; micro leakage. Experimentally set threshold of sensitivity of the SHC – 0.05 gwater. Hardware implementation of the studied methods will allow you to create an alarm system that will provide detection of the location and size of emergency situations involving water leaks (breakthroughs of water vapor) in the early stages, which will reduce damages by taking preventive measures to prevent its development.
