METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE ACCURACY OF DETERMINING THE LOCATION OF WATER LEAKAGE USING SORPTION HYDRO SENSOR CABLE
(pp. 51-55)

Abstract. The paper shows the relevance of determining the accurate location and registration of the fact of leak of water from the point of view of subsequent operativetion determine the cause of the accident. Noted the main advantage of sorption hydro sensor cable (SНС) compared to existing hydrosensor – organization of control over water leaks at any point in the 3D monitored space. To determine the exact locations of wetting, sorption sheath of the cable proposed to be impregnated with sodium fluorescein, which, when in contact with water changes its color in UV light and the result is stored for a long time after drying. Using the proposed method for detecting the locations of leaks is of particular relevance in systems that use deionized water that has low conductivity and is bad detected by the hydro sensors with electrical contacts.

Keywords: sorption hydro sensor cable, leak, water, a dye, fluorescein sodium, deionized water.
